Magneto consists of rotor and stator. The rotor is made of magnetic steel, and its failure is usually demagnetization, but this rarely happens. In addition, some old type magneto rotors have vibration sound due to looseness of the outer iron sheet, but it is also rare, and the new type basically does not have these situations. If the stator coil fails, it will be unable to start, difficult to start, unable to start electrically (only by foot), unable to charge due to insufficient power generation, etc.
